Adding licenses
Per-user billing, assigning seats, and inviting teammates.
TickM bills per active user. Your Stripe subscription quantity equals the number of licenses purchased. Each person who needs to track time or access an organization must have a license assigned.
Who manages licenses?
The Organization Owner manages subscription quantity and license assignment. In the app, go to Manage → Subscription for billing and Manage → Users for seat assignment.
Add more licenses
- Open Manage → Subscription in the app.
- Click Manage billing to open the Stripe customer portal.
- Increase the subscription quantity to match the number of users you need.
- Return to Manage → Users to assign licenses to teammates.
Assign or remove a license
On Manage → Users, each user card shows license status. Use Assign license to activate a user or Remove license to deactivate them for that organization. Unlicensed users cannot access the org.
Inviting when you are at capacity
If you try to invite users when all licenses are assigned, the organization owner must add seats in the Stripe portal first. Non-owners see: “Only the Organization Owner can add more licenses.”
The invite flow is at /manage/users/invite — paste emails, validate, save, and send invitations.
